TL;DR
- Lead sculptor Hayate both draws the character designs and sculpts the figures. At most figure companies those are separate roles.
- AniGift is a high-end label with documented AniGame collaborations. AniGift and AniMester should be treated as separate companies unless either company says otherwise. AniGift registered in Japan in 2021 and sells through AmiAmi.
- The catalog combines original characters with licensed Azur Lane, NIKKE, and virtual-streamer figures. Most pieces cost between 15,000 and 25,000 yen ($100-$165 USD).
- On the figure site Hpoi, Scarlet Resonance Leviathan drew more than 448,000 views.
One Sculptor Designs and Builds Everything
At most figure companies, an illustrator draws a character and a sculptor interprets that drawing in three dimensions. At AniGift, Hayate does both. The designs, sculpts, and creative decisions behind each figure trace back to one person.
AniGift registered as a Japanese entity on April 30, 2021. It has documented AniGame collaborations, while AniGift and AniMester should be treated as separate companies unless either company says otherwise. Its creative roots include Fuukasetsu, an independent self-publishing group, and the independent sculptor community. Color artist Chatatonton completes the core creative team. The brand debuted at WonderFestival 2020 Winter, a major figure convention, with Kaede Black/Yellow Version. Made at one-seventh of the character's full size, the figure launched through an AmiAmi sales arrangement that has continued since.
Original Characters, Azur Lane, and Virtual-Streamer Licenses
The catalog mixes original characters with licensed figures from Azur Lane and NIKKE, plus virtual-streamer figures. Scarlet Resonance Leviathan drew more than 448,000 views on the figure site Hpoi, attracting serious attention for a studio this young.
Prices run roughly 15,000 to 25,000 yen ($100-$165 USD). The figures have a consistent feel across the lineup, which follows naturally from one person handling both the illustrated character design and the three-dimensional sculpt.
Design-Led and Sold Only by AmiAmi
AniGift is for design-driven buyers more than franchise completionists. Because Hayate controls both the original illustration and the sculpt, details like hair flow direction, clothing tension points, and color palette carry through from concept art to finished figure without the usual translation loss.
Distribution runs exclusively through AmiAmi, so that retailer's listings are the direct way to follow new releases. Production runs are not large. For collectors who prefer not to depend on resale listings, the preorder window is the clearest buying opportunity.
