TL;DR

  • Brand new. DMM Factory launched in April 2024 as the figure arm of DMM.com, one of Japan's largest digital services companies. The catalog is still small, so collectors have limited shipped output to assess.
  • DMM Factory partnered with Wing and Alice Glint for production instead of building from scratch. Wing brings an established production record to the new label.
  • The Maid Maison series, co-produced with pixiv, taps directly into the illustrator community for original character designs. That pipeline is the most interesting thing about the brand so far.
  • Figures land at 25,000 to 33,000 yen ($165-$220 USD), with production handled by Wing and Alice Glint.

DMM.com Enters Figure Manufacturing

DMM Factory launched in April 2024 as the figure brand of DMM.com, one of Japan's largest digital services companies. Four distinct product categories were introduced simultaneously, though fewer than a dozen figures have shipped as of early 2026.

Rather than building manufacturing from scratch, DMM Factory partnered with Alice Glint and Wing for production. Wing's involvement gave DMM Factory an experienced production partner from launch.

Maid Maison and the pixiv Pipeline

The Maid Maison series, co-produced with pixiv, turns original character designs from illustrators with established followings into collector figures. Licensed releases include NIKKE, Nijisanji, and Oshi no Ko.

Releases cost 25,000 to 33,000 yen, placing them at the high end of the collector-figure market. The pixiv collaboration sets DMM Factory apart by connecting production directly to established illustrators and their audiences.

Corporate Scale, Established Partners

DMM Factory only entered the market in 2024. Wing and Alice Glint handle production, but too few figures have shipped to establish consistency. DMM provides corporate backing, but the label still lacks a long delivery record. Owner reviews of early releases can help collectors assess individual figures.

The pixiv partnership is the most distinctive element. Each original release depends on a specific illustrator's audience, which could produce memorable figures or weaken the brand if quality control varies between artists.
