A general opened the catalog

Infinity Studio began with Iron Knights Zhao Yun. Its official history treats the August 2015 ChinaJoy unveiling of the statue as the studio's founding moment. The 1/4 scale statue, meaning roughly one quarter of the character's full height, stands 70 cm tall and was listed at CNY 3,380.

Licenses followed in quick succession: Evangelion in 2016, Naruto Shippuden in 2017, and Dragon Ball Z in 2018. The 2020 Goku versus Vegeta turned that expansion into a 55 cm, two-character battle scene made from polystone and resin. Its CNY 5,880 list price and 11 kg weight make clear that Infinity was building for dedicated display space from the start.

The early arc matters because Infinity did not leave Chinese subjects behind as its license portfolio widened. The official archive still places Three Kingdoms generals and other original Chinese series beside anime, game, and film work. That combination gives the catalog a broader identity than any single license can explain.

Large statues became the signature

Scale is only part of Infinity Studio's appeal. The main statue catalog uses polystone and polyurethane resin for structure, then adds fabric, metal, silicone, prosthetic eyes, rooted hair, or lights when the subject calls for them. The materials change how a character reads at close range, especially when sculpted plastic must suggest skin, cloth, hair, or armor.

The life-size World of Warcraft Sylvanas Windrunner bust is the clearest example. Good Smile lists platinum silicone, polystone, heat-resistant fiber, and fabric among its materials. The 99 cm bust uses more than 100,000 hair strands and custom eyes with a red light effect, and it carried a Japanese list price of ¥935,000 ($6,235 USD).

Infinity also builds large scenes in a more stylized register. The 1/4 Arcane Season 2 Jinx stands 60 cm tall, includes calm and angry portraits, and uses lights in the angry eyes and backdrop. At ¥150,000 ($1,000 USD), it shows how the studio combines a readable character pose with the hardware of a premium display piece.

SSR FIGURE brings Infinity Studio to smaller shelves

SSR FIGURE is Infinity Studio's own brand. Infinity's history says SSR FIGURE began independent operation in 2022, while Good Smile's product copy calls it 'Infinity Studio's SSR FIGURE brand.' This is a brand relationship, not evidence of a separate parent company.

The format is much closer to a conventional anime scale figure. Su Jiu from the original House of Unhumans series is a 25 cm painted-plastic 1/7 figure, meaning about one seventh of the character's full height. Asanagi supplied the character design, and the Japanese release listed at ¥21,780 ($145 USD).

The later Su Jiu Bunny Version came in at ¥11,880 ($80 USD), with real net tights and a sofa that connects to other seats in the series. That smaller footprint and lower starting price make SSR FIGURE the clearest first stop for collectors who like Infinity's character work but do not want a half-meter statue. On Good Smile listings, SSR FIGURE or Infinity Studio appears as maker while Good Smile is identified separately as distributor.

What collectors can buy now

Infinity Studio now works across several physical formats. HeavyMecha launched in 2023 with articulated Pacific Rim products. Angel Force followed in October 2024, and its first character, MIA, is a 70 cm articulated silicone figure built around a metal skeleton with more than 30 movable joints. Good Smile listed MIA at ¥185,000 ($1,235 USD).

The forward schedule is active. Good Smile lists the 108 cm World of Warcraft Sally Whitemane for January 2027 at ¥455,000 ($3,035 USD). BigBadToyStore lists the 1/3 Street Fighter 6 Cammy at $1,069.99 with an estimated April 2027 arrival, and identifies the figure as fully articulated with a silicone outer body and alloy skeleton.

Choose the format before choosing the release. An SSR FIGURE scale can fit an ordinary figure shelf, while Jinx occupies 60 by 43 by 53 cm and Sally Whitemane reaches 108 cm tall. Large pieces can also bring special power, bundling, and regional sales conditions, so the product page deserves the same attention as the photographs. Infinity Studio started by giving a Chinese general room to command a display, and its current catalog keeps finding new ways to work at that scale of ambition.

Iron Knights Zhao Yun set the template in 2015: a 1/4 Three Kingdoms statue, 70 cm tall, priced at CNY 3,380 and limited to 750. By 2020, Goku versus Vegeta brought Dragon Ball Z into a 1/6 polystone and resin battle scene at CNY 5,880. Divine Sword Irelia followed as Infinity's first League of Legends statue, and Infinity says its worldwide allocation sold through within 24 hours.

SSR FIGURE's 2023 Su Jiu moved the company into 1/7 painted plastic at ¥21,780 ($145 USD). The 2025 Japanese shipment of the life-size Sylvanas Windrunner bust represented the other end of the catalog at ¥935,000 ($6,235 USD). Arcane Vi shipped in Japan in January 2026 at ¥154,700 ($1,030 USD), while Jinx, after an earlier delay from July to August, was listed for November 2026 at ¥150,000 ($1,000 USD). Good Smile's 2027 schedule already includes the 1/3 Sally Whitemane and 1/2 Arwen, both using platinum silicone and fabric among their materials.

Infinity Studio is the main statue identity. SSR FIGURE is its smaller painted-figure brand, HeavyMecha is its articulated robot brand, and Angel Force is its large articulated silicone line. The official history calls all three sub-brands or brands within the same structure. SSR FIGURE's independent operation since 2022 describes how the brand is run, not a verified change of ownership.

BN FIGURE is different. The MyFigureCollection record for Hikari Yagami and Angewomon credits Bandai Namco Entertainment and Bandai Namco Shanghai as producers, with Infinity Studio as manufacturer. Good Smile product pages similarly separate manufacturing from distribution, and Infinity's own distributor list names Good Smile in Japan plus Sideshow and BigBadToyStore in the United States. None of those distributors is presented as Infinity Studio's parent.
