The Frame Became Part of the Figure

Myethos has built its identity on a single idea: a figure can carry enough of a world to read as a finished illustration. The current corporate entity is Myethos (Hangzhou) Culture Media Co., Ltd., headquartered in Hangzhou. Its catalog combines licensed characters with original lines.

Myethos and ADK Emotions opened the official Myethos Japan online store on March 19, 2025.

A chair, wave, tree, book, or architectural fragment can set the rhythm. The character carries the emotion, while the setting explains where the eye should travel next.

Fairy Tales With Their Teeth Left In

FairyTale-Another, the storybook line, is where this shows clearest. Queen of Hearts sits in a sharp zigzag, with one leg crossing the throne and the torso turning back toward the viewer. Spade shapes and a checkerboard base repeat the card theme below her. The throne is both furniture and a diagram of her authority.

Little Mermaid builds a softer path. Water curls around the body in a spiral, then the tail, hair, and translucent wave edges carry that curve upward. Blue, green, and violet gradients keep the water and the mermaid in the same family without letting them merge into one mass. The scene reads as a transformation held for a moment.

These figures invite the collector to circle the base and discover that the scenery has been composing the portrait all along.

Original Lines Give the Studio Room to Experiment

The A-Z series uses characters named through letters and bracketed identifiers, with neco providing the illustrations. A-Z:[S] holds the body almost still at the center while the jacket, tie, skirt, hair, and equipment pull outward as if caught by wind. SunYaMing's sculpt preserves that contrast, and the visible supports share the figure's mechanical vocabulary.

Gift+ takes a more accessible route through smaller licensed figures. It simplifies the setting and price commitment while keeping Myethos close to current game and animation characters. Collectors should compare line, scale, and materials instead of assuming one Myethos format.

Buy the Silhouette You Can Actually Display

Myethos figures can ask for more room than their scale suggests. Hair may travel sideways, waves may rise behind the body, and scenic bases can be both wide and visually dense.
