Illustrator Originals, Recurring Hands
HanaBee's Ryoko Ayase opened for preorder on January 15, 2024. The 1/6 scale figure translated an original character by illustrator こうたろ into an energetic, dynamic pose, giving the brand an early product built around an artist's own design. That lane continues with Fumizuki Hanayo, which adapts a tomozero illustration, and 冥加皐希 Bunny Girl Ver., based on a character illustrated by ピロ水.
The licensed side works at different shelf scales. Wuthering Waves' Yinlin is a 335 mm 1/6 scale piece sculpted by Okaze and painted by Peng. Minami Fuyuki Pajama Ver. pairs K-10 with Peng at 270 mm, while HanaBee's Azur Lane Summer Swimsuit box figures are approximately 100 mm chibis sculpted under the HanaBee name.
Peng is the connective credit across those three projects, but the sculptor changes with the assignment. The pattern makes HanaBee look less like a single-sculptor house and more like a label assembling familiar collaborators around each character and format.

Japanese listings make the buying route concrete, but they also show why the small print matters. AmiAmi labels 冥加皐希 as a China-specification authorized import and warns that some bonuses or contents may not be supported outside China. Milestone notes that Minami Fuyuki's illustration colored paper may no longer be included after the preorder period, while HobbySearch identifies a separate can-badge bonus for Fumizuki Hanayo.
Some current catalog entries have not yet reached release. HPOI, for example, schedules the 1/6 scale Kaori Miyazono for January 2027. Until more of the current catalog reaches owners, HanaBee is better approached product by product than through a broad quality verdict. Confirm the exact bonus, regional support terms, and release status with the retailer, then compare final owner photographs when a shipped version is available.
