Suzhou Studio Serving Massive Chinese Games
Honor of Kings has over 100 million daily players. Soul Land is one of China's biggest animated franchises. King of Fighters shaped an entire generation of arcade culture. These are massive properties, and until recently, figure collectors had few options for their characters. PIJI Studio, based in Suzhou and active since around 2020, built its catalog around exactly those properties.
The studio works in both resin and PVC plastic, which is unusual. Most manufacturers commit to one material. PIJI can offer a Mai Shiranui resin statue for display collectors and a PVC figure for buyers who want something less fragile and less expensive.
Honor of Kings and King of Fighters in Two Materials
The King of Fighters license gives PIJI access to its characters, with Mai Shiranui as the headline figure. Honor of Kings and Soul Land round out the gaming catalog, while a WLOP Ghostblade collaboration taps into the digital art scene.
PVC scales start around 15,000 yen ($100 USD). Resin statues push past 40,000 yen ($265 USD). The two ranges differ in material, weight, handling, and display needs, so format preference matters more than treating one as automatically superior.
One of the Few for Honor of Kings Collectors
If you play Honor of Kings or follow Soul Land, your figure options from other manufacturers are sparse. PIJI is one of the few studios actively building a catalog around these properties. The dual resin/PVC capability also means you can choose your format based on budget and display preference rather than being locked into whatever the studio decided to produce.
For Ghostblade fans, the WLOP collaboration puts PIJI's sculpt in direct comparison with the original illustrations, making prototype and owner photos especially useful.
