Buffaloman and a 60 cm Souther scene in 2015

SpiceSeed opened its Fist of the North Star project with a full procession. The 2015 Holy Emperor Souther Palanquin Version stretched about 60 cm long and 55 cm high, used resin cast, and cost ¥398,000 before tax (about $2,655 USD). Tetsuo Hara supplied an illustration of the throne's rear because that side had not appeared in the original manga. A swappable hand holding a milkshake connected the imposing scene to the parody Fist of the North Star: Strawberry Flavor.

SpiceSeed's main Kinnikuman series had already begun with the 27 to 28 cm Buffaloman at ¥54,780 including tax (about $365 USD). Kinnikuman in resin, PVC, soft vinyl, and mini figures

Both versions were listed as painted completed figures made in Japan.

In 2017, SpiceSeed opened two more Kinnikuman formats. Muscle Shot launched with 10 cm PVC versions of Akuma Shogun and Sunshine at ¥4,980 before tax each (about $35 USD), translating a mobile game's compact character designs into desk-sized figures. The same year, the CURATIONS began with guest sculptor Keiji Iwakura's Akuma Shogun resin interpretations, priced from ¥89,800 before tax (about $600 USD). The official Kinnikuman main category now lists 122 products, beside separate categories for Muscle Shot, the CURATIONS, Nostalgic Sofvi Collection, and SpiceSeed Deformed.

Sofubi is Japanese shorthand for soft vinyl, a material often used for hollow molded toys. [interpretation] These smaller branches do more than fill price gaps. They let one catalog move between the physical weight of a large resin wrestler and the quick visual appeal of a mini character without treating either format as secondary collecting.

Larger action scenes and new licenses

The 2024 Kinnikuman Napalm Stretch is a 41 cm resin composition built around a two-character finishing move and a diorama base, priced at ¥153,780 including tax (about $1,025 USD). Kaioh Riding Version from Fist of the North Star followed at roughly 55 cm wide, 37 cm deep, and 50 cm high for ¥362,780 including tax (about $2,420 USD). Series creator Riku Sanjo said that opening with villains convinced him SpiceSeed was serious about the material. By August 2026, the official store identified Avan as the ninth figure in the coordinated resin line, at 26 cm and ¥65,780 including tax (about $440 USD).

SpiceSeed's first My Hero Academia release was Armored All Might, a 48 cm resin diorama at ¥164,780 including tax (about $1,100 USD). A standalone 37 cm All Might with illuminated eyes followed at ¥87,780 including tax (about $585 USD). In 2026, SpiceSeed also moved beyond cast materials with a hand-carved natural-wood Raoh and Kokuoh measuring about 70 cm wide and priced at ¥1,100,000 including tax (about $7,335 USD). [interpretation] New licenses and materials have widened the catalog, but the recurring subject is still a powerful body given enough space to command a display.

Buying SpiceSeed from North America

Start by choosing the physical commitment, not only the character. The 6.5 cm PVC Gomechan costs ¥5,500 including tax (about $37 USD), and the current 26 cm Avan costs ¥65,780 including tax (about $440 USD). Kaioh Riding Version needs about 55 cm of shelf width before packing clearance is considered. [interpretation] A small PVC or mini figure is the easier introduction, while a large resin scene makes more sense after the display space and delivery route are settled.

North American access is weak. SpiceSeed's Japanese store names Japan Post as its carrier and accepts major card brands, but the pages reviewed for this article do not clearly promise direct international delivery. AmiAmi carried the 2017 PVC Kevin Mask, although that sold-out listing is historical evidence for one product rather than proof of a current overseas dealer network.
