Our Treasure

The same character can begin as your project or arrive ready for the shelf.

TL;DR

  • Our Treasure built its figure identity around a paired format: painted Summer Queens figures and lower-priced Assemble Heroines kits based on many of the same sculpts.
  • The concept began with You Watanabe from Love Live! Sunshine!! in 2018 and grew through licenses including Fate/Grand Order, Sword Art Online, K-ON!, ONIMAI, and My Dress-Up Darling.
  • Typical 2026 prices are ¥9,900 (about $65 USD) for a kit and ¥19,800 (about $130 USD) for its painted counterpart.
  • Arthur Pencilgon, Melos, Nembutsu no Tetsu, and Master Model Makers show that the catalog reaches beyond 1/8 scale swimsuit figures.

One character, two ways to buy it

Our Treasure's first defining character release arrived in two forms. You Watanabe from Love Live! Sunshine!! appeared in September 2018 as a ¥4,860 kit (about $30 USD) and a ¥9,612 painted figure (about $65 USD). Both used the same 1/8 scale, 20 cm design. The less expensive Assemble Heroines version was a semi-finished kit, meaning that the face and hair were already painted while the buyer assembled the molded-color body.

That pairing gave a company founded in 2017 a clear identity almost immediately. Summer Queens served the collector who wanted a finished display piece. Assemble Heroines kept the same character design within reach of people who enjoyed building, painting, or simply paying less. The real product was choice, not just a swimsuit sculpt.

How Assemble Heroines and Summer Queens work

Assemble Heroines kits use colored PVC and ABS parts and a prepainted head, so they can be built without painting or customized with paint. Summer Queens supplies the corresponding figure fully assembled and painted. Many finished releases are limited to AmiAmi, Digitamin, and Tokyo Figure, while the kits receive broader hobby-store distribution. A lightly movable ball joint at the neck lets many of the finished figures change their gaze by a small amount.

The format also makes room for more than a head swap. Archer/Altria Pendragon from Fate/Grand Order has interchangeable upper-body parts and a water pistol. Mio Akiyama from K-ON!! can display either of two hairstyles, while the deluxe Mahiro Oyama from ONIMAI adds a second head with a different hairstyle and expression. These options reward close character attachment without turning a fixed-pose figure into a fully articulated toy.

The catalog grows beyond the two core lines

Summer Queens remains the center of Our Treasure's character catalog, but it does not contain the whole story. The 2020 Melos from The Ultraman was a 30 cm polystone and PVC statue priced at ¥49,500 (about $330 USD), with helmeted and unhelmeted display options. In 2023, Nembutsu no Tetsu from Shin Hissatsu Shiokinin used cloth clothing on a poseable 1/6 scale body and included two heads, interchangeable hands, and a research leaflet. Its standard edition also cost ¥49,500 (about $330 USD).

Arthur Pencilgon from Shangri-La Frontier moved into a 1/7 scale action pose in 2024, armed with a knife and spear at ¥24,750 (about $165 USD). The separate Master Model Makers brand began in 2023 with a fixed-pose 1/144 Engage SR3 Late Type model from The Five Star Stories. Together, these projects reveal a maker with specialist model-building interests beneath its summer figure catalog.

Buying Our Treasure in 2026

The paired format still defines the 2026 catalog. Tokyo Figure listed the Marin Kitagawa and Ruler/Leonardo da Vinci kits at ¥9,900 each (about $65 USD), with painted editions at ¥19,800 (about $130 USD) and ¥21,780 (about $145 USD). Ruler/Scathach-Skadi was also on sale at ¥19,800, and its product page identifies Our Treasure as manufacturer and Tokyo Figure as distributor. Crunchyroll listed the Marin Kitagawa Summer Queens painted figure for North American buyers, while HLJ listed the Leonardo da Vinci kit.

Release timing deserves a check before ordering. Tokyo Figure moved four Kaguya Shinomiya and Chika Fujiwara Summer Queens products from May 2025 to November 2025 or later. A collector choosing between the two formats should compare the exact parts, retailer, and current release status, not assume that the kit and painted version travel through the same sales channel. In 2026, the original idea remains intact: one sculpt can support both the builder's workbench and the finished-figure shelf.

More for collectors: The paired figure catalog, release by release

You Watanabe established the formula in 2018 at ¥4,860 for the kit (about $30 USD) and ¥9,612 for the painted figure (about $65 USD). Asuna from Sword Art Online: Alicization followed in 2020, with the painted edition at ¥10,780 (about $70 USD). Archer/Altria Pendragon from Fate/Grand Order reached ¥14,080 (about $95 USD) painted in 2021 and added interchangeable upper-body parts. Caster/Marie Antoinette continued the Fate line at ¥15,950 (about $105 USD) painted in 2023.

Mio Akiyama from K-ON!! cost ¥15,950 (about $105 USD) painted in 2024 and included two hairstyle options. Mahiro Oyama expanded the ladder in 2025 with a ¥20,900 deluxe painted edition (about $140 USD) that added another head. In 2026, Ruler/Scathach-Skadi returned to the familiar ¥19,800 painted tier (about $130 USD), while Ruler/Leonardo da Vinci placed the kit at ¥9,900 (about $65 USD) and the painted figure at ¥21,780 (about $145 USD). The sequence shows a stable two-format idea that has gained more parts and higher nominal prices over time.

More for collectors: Products outside the paired figure catalog

Melos from The Ultraman arrived in 2020 as a non-scale polystone and PVC statue about 30 cm tall. Its ¥49,500 price (about $330 USD) bought helmeted and unhelmeted arrangements plus a bonus Zoffy head. Nembutsu no Tetsu followed in a very different form: a cloth-costumed, poseable 1/6 scale television character with two heads and a standard price of ¥49,500 (about $330 USD).

The 2024 Arthur Pencilgon from Shangri-La Frontier is a painted PVC and ABS figure at 1/7 scale, about 22.5 cm tall, and ¥24,750 (about $165 USD). Master Model Makers approaches display pieces through model construction instead. Its first release, the ¥8,580 Engage SR3 Late Type (about $55 USD), is a fixed 1/144 plastic model based on The Five Star Stories, with Syujyu credited for the original sculpt and Hiroyuki Motoki of T-REX for injection-kit design work.
